Medipac™ contents

An instruction booklet detailing how to use the contents of your Medipac™ correctly will be sent with your Medipac™.

Antibiotics
Amoxicillin Tablets 250mg	21 Tablets	1 tablet 3 times a day	Broad range antibiotic used for: chest, ear, tooth, bowel and urine infections
Erythromicin Tablets 250mg (Supplied instead of Amoxicillin if patient is allergic to penicillin)	28 Tablets	1 tablet 4 times a day	Good antibiotic if you are allergic to penicillin used for: chest, ear, eye, skin and bowel infections
Doxycycline 100mg	8 Tablets	2 tablets intially then 1 a day until completion	Used for: lung, bowel, urine and sexually transmitted infections
Gentamicin ear/eye drops	10mls	2 drops 3 times a day	Antibiotic drops for ear and eye infections
Fucidin Cream 15 grams	15 grams	Apply two-three times a day	Locally applied antibiotic for skin infections

Other Medicines
Diclofenac 50mg	10 Tablets	1 tablet 2 times a day	Used for painful inflammatory situations such as a sprain or back pain
Cetirizine 10mg	10 tablets	1 tablet per day	Non-sedating antihistamine for itching or allergic conditions
Aspirin 300mg	8 tablets	1 tablet three to four times a day	Used for a range of conditions from sore throats to heart attacks
Buccastem 3mg	10 tablets	Insert 1 by the gums letting it dissolve up to 3 times a day	Treat nausea and vomiting associated with migraine
Hydrocortisone Cream 1%	1 Tube	Apply up to 3 times a day	Used for rashes and skin inflammation
Loperamide 2mg	10 tablets	Take 2 to start then 1 tablet with every loose motion	Known as Immodium™ and used for diarrhoea
Lignocaine 2%	2 vials	2mls	Local anaesthetic
Swim Ear	1 Bottle	1 fl oz	Ear water drying agent
Zantac 150mg	10 Tablets	Take 2 tablets a day	For symptoms of increased gastric acidity
Quinine Sulphate 300mg	28 Tablets	If malaria is suspected take 2 tablets every 8 hours for 5 to 7 days	Seek a doctor as soon as you can for malaria testing

2 Sterile Medical Wipes	Sterilise skin and surfaces before any contact
1 Safety Pin	Hold bandage together

Looking after your Medipac™

The medipac is designed to be both portable and strong in order to put up with the rigors of travelling. It measures 20 x 20 x 5cm and is made of a durable water-resistant material which will keep the contents dry in most situations.
