Ventolin Inhalers 100 micrograms

Buy Ventolin Inhalers for Asthma

Ventolin Inhalers are a type of asthma reliever inhaler. Reliever inhalers (quick relief inhalers) are taken to relieve asthma symptoms quickly. The inhaler usually contains a medicine called a short-acting beta2-agonist and is normally used when you feel the symptoms of asthma coming on. It works by relaxing the muscles surrounding the narrowed airways. This allows the airways to open wider, making it easier to breathe again. Ventolin inhalers are sometimes referred to as blue inhalers.

All our products are genuine UK medicines and are dispensed by our partner pharmacy based in the UK.

Description

Ventolin Inhalers contain a medicine called salbutamol. This belongs to a group of medicines called fast acting bronchodilators. Bronchodilators help the airways in your lungs to stay open. This makes it easier for air to get in and out.

Suitability

Do not use Ventolin Inhalers:

  • if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to salbutamol sulfate or any of the other ingredients listed in the patient information leaflet
  • you unexpectedly go into early labour (premature labour) or threatened abortion

You should also talk to your doctor if your asthma is active (for example you have frequent symptoms or flare ups or limited physical ability). Your doctor may start or increase a medicine to control your asthma such as an inhaled corticosteroid.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor, nurse or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Important Interactions

You must tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or might take other medicines, in particular:

  • medicines for an irregular or fast heartbeat
  • other medicines for your asthma
Side Effects
  • feeling shaky
  • headache
  • mouth and throat irritation

Please Note

All medication can cause side effects. We have only listed a few to be aware of. Details of all side effects, including rare side effects to be aware of, are listed in the patient information leaflet (PIL). When completing your medical questionnaire, it is very important that you answer the questions truthfully. This is to ensure your doctor has a full picture of your medical history before prescribing. List all medicines you are already taking, including non-prescription and herbal medicines.

Alternatives

Ventolin inhalers are available either as metered aerosol or breath actuated inhalers. Alternative asthma inhalers available are preventer inhalers containing steroids.

Looking after your medicine

Do not take medicines after the expiry date stamped on the pack. Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.

Medicines are only intended to be used by the person they are prescribed for. Do not give your prescribed medicine to anybody else, even if they have the same symptoms as you. Medicines can be harmful if used by anybody other than the person they have been prescribed for.
