Trichomoniasis Treatment
Trichomoniasis vaginalis (also called trichomonas or TV) is a sexually transmitted infection (STI). It is a protozoan, which is a tiny bug, similar to bacteria. It can infect the genital area, but it does not usually go further into the body. It often presents with no symptoms, so you can pass on the infection without realising it.
Mycoplasma Genitalium Treatment
Mycoplasma genitalium (Mgen) is a common sexually transmitted infection that can cause urethritis in men and has been linked to cervicitis (inflammation of the cervix) and pelvic inflammatory disease in women. If left untreated, it can lead to infertility in women in severe cases.
Ureaplasma Treatment
Ureaplasma is bacterium which colonises the urogenital tract. Although it can be transmitted through sexual contact, it is not strictly classified as an STI because infection can also occur without sexual contact.
