Condyline is a topical treatment solution containing alcohol that inhibits cell division to prevent warts growing and replicating. It enables healthy skin cells to grow again. Condyline contains podophyllotoxin which has anti-viral properties acting on the HPV virus. It is most suitable for small warts during initial stages of infection and patients usually see an improvement of their symptoms within 3 days to 4 weeks.

Condyline is an alcoholic solution which contains the active ingredient podophyllotoxin. This is a plant extract which is used to treat small clusters of genital warts in adults known as condylomata acuminate that are found on the penis or on the external female genital organs.

Warts can also be treated by physical removal such as freezing, diathermy (burning) or laser. Treatment can sometimes require several visits and recurrences can occur after any form of treatment.
