Doxycycline is the first line treatment for uncomplicated chlamydia infections. A single dose of azithromycin is no longer recommended due to increased antibiotic resistance.
All our products are genuine UK medicines and are dispensed by our partner pharmacy based in the UK.
Doxycycline capsules contain the active substance doxycycline as doxycycline monohydrate. Doxycycline is an antibiotic belonging to a group of medicines called tetracyclines. It is used to treat many different types of infections including the sexually transmitted infection chlamydia.
