Order Chlamydia Treatment Online
What is Chlamydia?
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) affecting both men and women and especially common in young adults. It is a bacterial infection of the genitals, anus or throat and one of the most common STIs in the UK. If left untreated chlamydia can lead to more serious complications such as infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease and inflammation of the testicles. As more than half of those infected do not have obvious symptoms, it is very important for sexually active people to get tested regularly, especially when changing sexual partners.
Anytime Doctor provides a regulated specialist service for people who have tested positive for chlamydia and patients who have a sexual partner who has chlamydia. If in doubt, please order a postal test kit before requesting treatment.
All services provided by Anytime Doctor are safe, fast and confidential. You can obtain treatment within the privacy of your home and without the inconvenience of waiting for an appointment.

Your medical consultation and registration is free and you are under no obligation to purchase any treatment after your consultation.
In order to manage some conditions online, we are required to inform your GP about the medicine you have been prescribed. This will be clearly highlighted during your consultation. We will not contact or share this information with your GP without your consent. You are required to provide consent each time you order, so you remain in full control of when we contact your GP on your behalf.
Your Anytime Doctor medical record is confidential and securely stored on our UK data servers. We will never share your details unless you expressly ask us to do so.
What are the symptoms of chlamydia?
Most people do not experience any noticable symptoms. If symptoms do present, they can include:
How effective is chlamydia treatment?
The seven day course treatment for chlamydia is very effective if you follow your doctor's prescribing instructions.
How soon can I have sex after chlamydia treatment?
You must not have unprotected sex (sex without using a barrier method) for at least seven days after you have finished your course of chlamydia treatment. This is to ensure you do not pass chlamydia to your partner. It is also recommended that both you and your partner receive treatment to prevent reinfection if they have already been exposed to chlamydia.
Can I order chlamydia treatment for my sexual partner?
If your partner has been exposed to chlamydia, they should also receive treatment to prevent cross- or reinfection of chlamydia. If unsure, they can order a chlamydia test kit. Should your partner also wish to use the Anytime Doctor chlamydia service, they are required to complete their own online consultation.
Do I need to get tested for Chlamydia after I have completed treatment?
A test of cure (a test performed after treatment to check that your infection has been cured) is not routinely advised following Chlamydia treatment. However if you are under the age of 25 you should have another test 3 months after being treated for Chlamydia. It is also advisable to have a full STI screen annually or if you have a new sexual partner.
